1. Listen to the radio. Did you hear anything that caught your attention? If you did not catch the name of the song it does not matter. Many radio stations keep a record of what they play on their website. Try to look there.

2. Make a list of all artists you may want to listen to.

3. Check their sites for upcoming CD releases. Does the artist have a new CD coming out? If yes, he may have some free songs available.STEP 2: SEARCH BLOGS

Many music fans are creating new blogs for their favorite music. They also post MP3s for readers to download. These are so called MP3 Blogs. Search through these and you may find some of your favorite music.STEP 3: USE GOOGLE

1. By typing some specific keywords into google search box you may find some music that is available for download.

2. Typing this into google: -inurl:(html|html|php) intitle:”grabandrun” mp3 “Paramore” will bring up directories that contain songs by Paramore on a specific website.

3. Copy the string above to google and replace Paramore with another artist. You can now browse the directory results of MP3s you want to download. (Change mp3 to m4r if you are looking for iPhone Ringtone.)

4. If you want to look on a specific website replace grabandrun with another site name or write “index of” instead it to look everywhere.STEP 4: CHECK ITUNES FOR FREE SAMPLES

1. If you do not have iTunes yet, download it here.

2. After opening it, start the iTunes Music Store in iTunes window.

3. Browse through their song database and look for songs that are free of charge.

1. Visit GRABandRUN, the YouTube Music Download website.

2. Type the name of an artist or song into the search box.

1. Visit The Hype-Machine.

2. Type the name of an artist or song into the search box.

3. Click on the name of the song in order to view the blog post. This page should contain the link to the song.

4. If you just want to listen to the tracks, click the “Pop-up Flash Player” button on the results page.Download Music using del.icio.us

1. Enter this into your browser search tab: del.icio.us/tag/system:filetype:mp3

2. In order to search for specific artist enter this: del.icio.us/tag/system:filetype:mp3+Paramore

3. Search through results and click on a link to play it.

4. Right-click the link and choose “Save Link As” to download the track.KEEP IN MIND
